Earlier this summer we were privileged to have the opportunity to film at Duke University Chapel for the wedding of Kathleen Greene & Reed Evans. Under the guidance of Carly Abernathy from Events by La Fete, these two attorneys threw a classy affair. Kathleen walked down the aisle with her dad and fellow Duke alum to a processional of trumpet and pipe organ. The collegiate gothic large stones, ribbed vaults, pointed arches and colorful stained glass provided an appropriate setting of majesty. Their reception followed at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club. Sharing the bride and groom’s love of Motown, their live band Horizon from Sam Hill Entertainment in Charlottesville, Virginia played many danceable classics. Photography was by Sara Brennan of Whitebox Photography.
Uptown Charlotte at the Mint Museum and St Peter’s right across the street. Meghan & Ryan had a fabulous day at premiere Charlotte venues despite the spring rain.
These two Clemson grads returned from Ohio to celebrate with family and friends at the finest venues in Greenville. The Poinsett Club, The Westin-Poinsett and historic Downtown Baptist Church, now Grace Church. It was an enormous wedding with 300 guests! Much fun was definitely had by all.
We filmed wedding days of both Mike’s sister in 2012 and Eliza’s sister in 2014. It was great to be back amongst families we know well now. This wedding did not disappoint. A large Catholic church outside of Atlanta. Followed by a reception at Stave near the Sweetwater Brewery facility.
